- RI Certification (provenance layer linking to third-party authentication services)

3. User Accounts

We use Auth0 for authentication and identity management. By creating an account, you agree to Auth0's terms and privacy policy. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

- Rare Index does not authenticate, appraise, or guarantee the value of any item
AI-Generated Insights: Certain features may use automated systems or AI to generate summaries, analytics, or insights. You acknowledge such outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate and agree not to rely on them as the sole basis for financial decisions. All AI-generated content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
You should independently verify all information before making any purchase, sale, or investment decision.
5. Third-Party Data & Partners
Rare Index aggregates data from various third-party sources, including market data providers, grading authorities, auction houses, and public databases. You acknowledge and agree that:
- Certain data is sourced from third-party providers. Rare Index does not control and is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or continued provision of such data.
- Data availability and refresh frequency may vary by category and source
- Third-party integrations may be added, replaced, or discontinued at any time
- We are not responsible for errors, omissions, or interruptions in third-party data
- You should independently verify critical information with original sources
Rare Index reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any data integration or feature at any time without prior notice.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Any data or content you submit to the Service
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Nevada. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
14. Arbitration
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Nevada. You waive your right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
